ASTC Passport Program
- MiSci members enjoy free or discounted general admission to 300+ other science centers and museums around the world. For a list of participating museums and ASTC guidelines (inlcuding the 90-mile rule), visit ASTC.org.
- ASTC benefits are a great perk! Before purchasing, be sure to review the ASTC passport guidelines, including the 90 mile rule. MiSci memberships cannot be refunded or transferred.

Reserve your time with Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family and one theater or Planetarium experience OR two theater experiences by using the “Build Your Experience” dropdown feature on the member website.
Members are not required to add extra experiences to their visit. If you do not wish to add an experience to your visit, please arrive at the museum and visit the box office to check in rather than make reservations online.
Mi-Sci Member FAQs — Explore Package
As a Mi-Sci member, you can reserve two experiences per visit:
- Reserve your time with the special exhibition Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family plus one theater or Planetarium experience
- OR, in lieu of Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family, you may reserve two theater experiences
No, members are not required to reserve experiences in advance. Simply check in at the box office upon arrival. No online reservation is needed if you do not wish to add experiences to your visit.
Use the “Build Your Experience” dropdown feature on the reservation page to select your experiences before completing your booking. Your membership discount will appear once you’ve added your experience to your cart.
You cannot add more than two experiences on the website. However, you may add additional experiences in person at the box office.
Yes! Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family is included with general admission for members. If a member is NOT booking a second experience, they can get their Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family tickets upon arrival. If a member is booking a second experience (theater or Planetarium show), they can book Tyrannosaurs: Meet the Family online as part of the two-experience process.
Premium members receive 6 free theater or Planetarium admission tickets for the whole membership year. Friend, Supporter, and Ambassador members receive 12 tickets per membership year. Redeem the free theater tickets in person at the box office.
Additional tickets need to be purchased in person at the box office to receive the 50% off membership benefit.
Cards are generated once per day at 5 p.m. You’ll get an email with your digital membership card between 5 and 6 p.m. If it’s been over 24 hours and you still haven’t received your card, please contact our membership department.
It takes up to 48 hours for us to manually add secondary names (excluding weekends). Your card will update automatically — no need to redownload. If it’s been more than 48 hours, contact the membership department.
